Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Morning — Stone Town Walking Tour
Pick up from your Zanzibar hotel at 8:30 AM. Begin a guided walking tour of Stone Town — a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the Old Fort, House of Wonders (exterior), Palace Museum, and Freddie Mercury's childhood home. Wander through Darajani Market, filled with spices, fish, and tropical fruit.
Day 2: Midday — Spice Farm Tour
Drive 30 minutes to a working spice farm in Kizimbani. Learn how cloves, cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, cardamom and black pepper are grown. Smell and taste fresh spices straight from the plants. See how a coconut is opened, and try climbing a coconut palm.
Day 3: Lunch — Traditional Zanzibari Meal
Enjoy a traditional Zanzibari lunch at the spice farm: spiced rice, coconut curries, fresh fruit, and locally grown spices.
Day 4: Afternoon — Return to Hotel
Drive back to your hotel, arriving around 2:00 PM.
