Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Morning — Chemka Hot Springs
Pick up from your Arusha hotel at 8:00 AM. Drive 90 minutes through Maasai villages and acacia woodland to the Chemka Hot Springs. Spend the morning swimming in the natural pools or relaxing under the shade of the fig trees.
Day 2: Lunch — Picnic by the Springs
Enjoy a packed lunch next to the springs. Optional short walk to see the source of the hot water bubbling up from the ground.
Day 3: Afternoon — Maasai Village Visit
On the return journey, visit a traditional Maasai village. Learn about Maasai customs, watch a welcome dance, and visit a boma (homestead). Opportunity to buy authentic Maasai handicrafts.
Day 4: Evening — Return to Arusha
Drive back to Arusha, arriving around 5:00 PM. Drop off at your hotel.
